    HP 96 Works good. Good quality.

    It works good. I am kind of trust in LD products. It gave me a lot less trouble compared with other 3rd party brands. the price is also reasonable, shipping was fast :)

    Didn't work for me

    New replacement cartridges for our HP 9800 printer cost $105 for the pair (color and black). You can buy a new printer for $50. However, we like our printer a lot so I tried these inexpensive knock-off cartridges and unfortunately, got what I paid for. The black printed a medium gray ink and the color cartridge was equally unimpressive with washed out colors. I ended up finding refilled HP Cartridges at Office Max for $50 and they work perfectly.

    Works, with some effort, and inexpensive!

    The printer recognized the color cartridge but complained that the B&W was not HP-compatible. But a list of things to try when this happens accompanied the product, and one of them worked. So good value for money eventually.

    Works great, though it's out of date. I knew it was out of date by 4 years, seller had stated it, but my experience with HP black inks (don't know about color) is that they are still good even sometimes after 10 years.

    The best solution for printing

    I have been using refilled or non-HP cartridges for years with great success. The OEM cartridges are stupid-expensive, and printing a large quantity of news letters for a volunteer organization like i do, I have to economize. Do not be afraid to try these out. You will get good quality print-outs and save a boat-load of cash.
