    Bought 2 CPUs and unfortunately one came with broken memory controller. Seller was very helpful in debugging and sending us another. Were also packaged very nicely with lots of padding. Although the replacement they sent also had a bad memory controller, their technical assistance really made up for it, and they offered to send a different model to fit our needs. Would buy from again if we ever need server stuff :D

    Purchased for a for a low cost server build.

    This CPU was just the right price to buy to test a motherboard and to run an entry level server. With eight 2.2 GHz cores, Hyper Threading (HT), and 20 MB L3 cache it was perfect for the price I paid. It was used but arrived like new and in good condition. Not really for gaming but perfect for applications that take advantage of multiple cores like adobe Photoshop and other popular application titles. One thing to remember with Intel Xeon processors is that they pair good with lots of main system RAM, 4 GB is a minimum for the computer to run just the OS.
