      Axxess LC-GMRC-01 Interface

      Item seems to work perfectly and the chime sounds better than the factory chime on my 2005 Chevy Colorado. There is a USB port on the chime that is evidently used for some sort of programming or updating but I've not been able to find anything about it. For some reason, my stereo will not dim when the headlights come on. I don't know if it's a flaw with this item, or maybe it's the head unit. If I could change anything about this, I would have it chime more than five times if you turn the key off and open the door with the keys in the ignition.

      GMRC-01 on my 2001 Alero

      Installed my GMRC-01 last week with a new touch screen stereo. One of the wires was not crimped into the connector correctly, but the good news was that it was one of 5 wires that my vehicle didn't use. The chime works great, as does the connectivity to my new stereo. The instructions could use some improvement, such as the antenna wire(blue/white). It needs to be connected to the stock/aftermarket amplifier, especially if you want sound... ;-)
