- *****- Feedback left by buyer.Past 6 monthsVerified purchaseBetter than I expected. Appears to be a copy of a post-war Soviet sextant. Index and horizon mirrors were loose. I tightened these and followed online instructions for side, perpendicularity, and index error. I got a sun fix within 25NM of my position using a "coffee cup" artificial horizon--first try. Horizon & index shades are NOT dark enough--I wore eclipse glasses; watch your eyes. Horizon shades are also too small & do not cover the horizon glass. Telescope almost useless.
