    z wave remote

    It is not intuitive or easy to use, I have an outdoor zwave GE garden plug/switch, and wanted this remote to turn it on and off despite hours of trying to get them to pair together, I have been unable to achieve the pairing I called support line, and it was a waste of time. I am very disappointed.

    Use with a Smartthings hub.

    Works well with a hub. You need to down load the instructions for set up, because the included instructions only refer only to a non hub setup. For lighting control, I find it easier to have the light too bright and to set the desired level while bringing it down.

    It works well for me

    It works well for me. Hold down setup for a few sec until the lights blink. tap add. tap light. the lights start flashing for a while. during this time, turn on your light by tapping. Usually this works right away, the pairing is signaled by a flash-skip, and stop, I believe it was. When I have had trouble I may have held too long. Tap quickly, try on/off. I downloaded the instructions on a pdf. Its good to have. check them out.
