Shipping from Japan was very economical, especially considering what it would have been to ship the same item from the US to Japan (postage has gone up).

If possible, the item was over-packed--I think I counted 7 layers of bubble wrap. Just a note for future buyers, the body did not come with a battery, so buy one now unless you want your new camera to act as an overpriced paperweight for a few days.
