        GREAT PRICE, especially with free shipping, and terrific little unit!

        1st of all, this is an amazingly inexpensive price. While I have not had the opportunity to use this yet, I had the exact same microphone before it was misplaced. However, when I did have the opportunities to use it, it performed magnificently. Most of the Olympus Digital Voice Recorders, like the WS 822 or the WS 801 do not record nearly as well from 5 or 6 feet away as they do when it's within a foot or 2 of the person dictating. THIS microphone compensates for all that with crystal-clear sound. The key is to not put it where it might get jostled, which is why they give you the type clip. It can attach to practically anything – collar or anything that a little alligator clip or tie clip or pin can attach to. Nick in SD

        For Olympus only or other powered jacks. Won't work for anything else without power.

        This thing has no output at all unless you're using an Olympus recorder that has a DC voltage on the 3.5 mm Jack of 1.5 volts or more to power the FET that's inside this microphone

        Evp ghost hunting

        The reason why I have it a 4 star is because it wasn't much better than with it on or off. I used my sony ic digital voice recorder and it works just a tiny bit better not much. But I'll be using this for my investigation for communicating with spirits

        great microphone

        Just got mine today to use with my digital RCA recorder. It works great even in a slight wind with the microphone cover. If it slips to much put a small rubber band around the base. The clip is made of metal as is most of the microphone. Quality product. Shipped to me in 3 days and was exactly as was pictured in the listing. New in box.
