    It doesn't get better than OEM

    This is the original remote that would have come with my Sony CDP-CD375 5-disc CD changer. It works with this device because it's supposed to—no programming necessary or even possible. It is actually easier to operate the CD player with the remote than it is to push the buttons on the front of the device itself, mainly because the labels on the remote's buttons are easier to see. Finding a universal remote that will operate more than the most basic functions of a piece of audio equipment is a tall order. If you can find a working original remote, it's usually a much more practical solution. I have also found that some remotes will operate more devices than advertised although your mileage may vary on that point.

    Lacks an essential function

    This is a basic remote controling the necessary functions of the CD player EXCEPT it does not turn the CD player on/off. That's right - unlike every other remote I've ever owned, this one lacks a power button. So you either have to leave the player on all the time, or manually power it on & off. Of course, if you always switch out the CDs in the turntable, this isn't a problem. But if you tend to load up all five CDs and leave them in for a few days while you are playing them now & then, as I do, it's an annoyance.

    Good with plenty of amazing features, with a couple of things missing

    This is a good remote for the Sony CDP-CE375. It works well and have most functions on the front panel of the player. The track skip, play/pause and disc skip is very useful. The only things I don't like about it that it doesn't have a power button for the system on it or any way to open and close the drawer with the remote.

    A Good Find and Buy

    I got the cd player at St Vincent de Paul, so it did not come with a remote. I ordered this remote expecting a 14 year old item to look it's age. It looked brand new and with a couple of AA batteries it worked great. A good find and buy.

    Seamless and satisfying

    Perfect product, very little wear and tear, worked perfectly as soon as I put batteries in it! I paid two and a half times as much for the remote as I did for the CD changer, but that’s Goodwill for you…! Prompt service, right product delivered the first time!
