        Good Little Kettle

I bought this little kettle for one reason. I wanted a tea kettle with a good working whistle. My old kettle had a whistle which never really worked well and I was constantly forgetting that I had water boiling. I would put the kettle on the boil and go back to my computer or watch a TV show. I would never hear the whistle and the kettle would boil the water dry. Sometimes I wold start to smell something like burning plastic when the handle of the kettle overheated after the water boiled away. I would start cursing because I realized that I had forgotten all about the kettle. It really bothered me because I use bottled water for tea and coffee, and I was wasting it. Looks good, works well but whistling cap broke and water splashes out when boiling

The cap whistling piece fell apart. The tiny screw cannot be retrieved to fix

      • Boils like a champ!

I found no problems with this kettle! The whistling reminds me of my mother heating water for hot chocolate.

      • Nice pot for the price

The only problem I have with this model is that the spout has to be taken off entirely instead of having a lever which opens the hatch. It's a nice looking pot. And does what it needs to do
