      Using it in a Dell Optiplex 3040 in a bu...

      Using it in a Dell Optiplex 3040 in a build of PFSense. PFSense had to difficulty detecting the card. This has to be plugged into the PCI Express Slot normally reserved for an add-in video card. Since PFSense is mainly a Text interface there are no issues with using the Intel motherboard shared video card.

      Works really well with OPNsense and gives my old PC something to do!

      I got this "Intel i350-T4 Quad-port Gigabit NIC PCIe x4 Network Adapter Full Height Bracket" cause I wanted to have my own router (PC) with OPNsense. It works very well for my situation. Heck, this whole system I have seems to work better than the other router I bought. Converted that other router into a Access Point. Anyways, the conclusion is that it works really well.
