    Great (enterprise switch) for a home network

    We use the Ubiquiti equipment at work (mainly the access points) and have been very impressed with how they are built and their reliability. We have a couple hundred access points in service now for three years, only one died and was replaced under warranty. We decided to try one of their 48port switches at a remote site, again, no problems and very easy to administer. So I needed a switch at home that I could set up vlans on and has POE+. Just a few months ago I purchase a UAP-HD access point. With that I set up a controller on an old pc in the basement. Since I had had the controller, setting up the 16 port switch was a breeze. I mounted it, plugged it in to power and the other switch I had. By the time I got upstairs, the controller already found the new switch. I adopted it and ...

    Perfect piece of eqipment for my needs.

    I've had my eye on Ubiquiti for a long time but was hesitant. I've used the WAPs at another site and had a difficult time adopting them, even though I've heard over and over how easy it was to work with Ubiquiti. I had a Meraki 8 port PoE switch and needed more ports. Not wanting to purchase another 3 year license for the Meraki, I decided to take the Ubiquiti plunge. Setup was beyond simple. So much so that I'm now looking at additional hardware. I'm pretty sure I had my entire network back up and running in under 20 minutes. I've since sold the Meraki so this ended up being an even better value. I'm using this device to power 4 Hikvision PoE cameras, a Cisco 8865 phone, and several severs on my home network.

    Great product right here.

    Reason why i bought this one is because i have a small home network that i want to build from the ground and up, and now im able to get rid of all the poe injectors for good. Also supports sfp modules as well and running on fiber as we speak.

    Rock Solid Unifi Switch

    Great switch. My US-16-150W had a few scrapes (used) bit it worked out of the box as expected. Wish I had gotten the 24 port version because I'm now noticing I need more ports. It sits nicely in my basement rack on the UPS.

    Great POE switch

    Great POE switch for my SOHO, runs with 2 workstations, 2 laptops, network backup drive, Cloud Key, network BluRay netflix player, and UAP-AC-HD wifi, expandable with SFP fibre ports. Not so much as a hiccup, and also fairly quiet.
