      The anomaly in Prince's catalog with the most attention, and there's good reason for it!

      Prince's Black Album was apparently his attempt at winning back the black audience he had lost in years prior when he scored with a Top 40 audience. Prince himself decided to pull it out of production because of it's negative slant, but Warner Bros. reissued it for two months in a very limited run years later. Some of Prince's hottest tracks are here like "Superfunkycaligragisexy" and "2 Nigs United For West Compton." "When 2 R In Love" ended up on The Black Album's replacement "Lovesexy." The Japan pressing is worth seeking simply because it's a higher quality presentation. Lyrics are in the booklet whereas other pressings around the globe came with only a black square for an insert. Definitely a treasure for music lovers!

      This is some of his best work.

      This is some of Prince's best work, I can't stop listening to it. I've always heard about The Black Album but had no idea what it sounded like. Having never heard it, I was a little worried about the price I paid for it. It turns out it's my favorite Prince cd, I'm surprised he didn't release it when he was supposed to. If you're into Prince, The Black Album is a must have. Definitely get this cd before you buy his later work, it's so worth it.

      I waited forever to purchase this CD! Huge Prince fan and I own almost every CD but I did not have The Black Album. It’s a great CD and definitely a must have for true Prince fans.
