        Worked well on my older Igloo cooler

        I ordered these for my older Igloo cooler. They worked fine with the original posts and mounting location, although the kit came with new posts. The only thing I had to do to get them to work/look correct was to put a couple of spacers (washers) behind the latch so they were vertically aligned when closed. Other than that they bolted right up to the original screw locations. These are a nice upgrade from the original plastic latches.

        Looks good, performs poorly!

        While it seems smart to replace a plastic hinged clasp with a metal hinge, the snap itself on the back of the closure is plastic, and has broken.

        A good quality latch

        I purchased this latch as a replacement for the original plastic latch. It was easy to install as the holes for the new latch matched up to the holes used by the old latch. It seems well built and should give me several more years of use out of the cooler.

        Original all plastic white latch replaced

        Bought this latch to replace the original all plastic white latch for a Max Cold Igloo, this new stainless steel hinge and outer stainless steel body should last for years, the snap side of this latch is still plastic and snaps tightly and better than original, the mounting holes for the new hinge did not change, turned out perfectly, and it looks great on my Igloo.

        Works with modifications on Igloo MaxCold

        Not a perfect fit but works on my Igloo MaxCold. Made very well. A similar latching unit should have been on this expensive cooler to begin with, rather than the plastic garbage it came with. Back in business now waiting for summer boating season.
