        Crazy

        I have watched this movie several times now and I'm still trying to figure out the plot. The setting for the movie is great, but don't take your eyes off this one for a second or you will be rewinding it time and again trying to figure out what is going on. The ending is down right crazy and that is the true problem with the movie. I plan to watch it again in order to try and bring it all together once and for all. L

        If you like the style of Alfred Hitchcock, then you will adore this movie. Debra Kerr is wonderful in her role. This movie will keep you on the edge of your seat!

        A brilliant film about the corruption of innocent children

        This is by far the best adaptation of Henry James' Turn of the Screw. Is it all in the governess' imagination or do Quint and Jessel still live on through the children they've corrupted? Henry James is deliberately ambiguous and so is this adaptation. A brilliant production on the part of the director and actors involved. And that haunting theme! Polanski pinched that idea for his opening to Rosemary's Baby.
