Now alone and armed with only his engineering tools and skills, Isaac races to find Nicole as the nightmarish mystery of what happened aboard the Ishimura unravels around him. Trapped with hostile creatures called Necromorphs, Isaac faces a battle for survival, not only against the escalating terrors of the ship but his own crumbling sanity.

      Great remake. Love how the game was built from the ground up and how the characters are the actual voice actors themselves. Everything from the sound design and environment evoke a sense of constant anxiety, and the action and gore is off the charts. It's very claustrophobic, but it actually works better than all the wasted space of the original, giving the feel that you're actually on a spaceship. Best way to play is at night with headphones.
