    The perfect camera....if it's what you're looking for

    If you're reading this, you know what kind of camera this is. For the same price (500.00 - 800.00) you can get a bells and whistles panasonic or sony or whatever. This is an OLD camera with an exceptional lens and tiny jewel like form factor. If you like to shoot manual, or don't mind waiting on AF for a landscape or posed subject, the results are extraordinary. It IS a 35mm lens equivalent, so if you're looking for a versatile, zoom lens with wide angle to portrait choices, this is not the camera for you. If you want a single lens, perfectly small and discreet camera for street shooting and head to shoulder portraits with blurred out backgrounds, this is an excellent choice. Other cameras to look at are the FuJI X100 (larger, but has a viewfinder - but doesn't feel as nice in the hand to ...

    Second time around...

    Excellent camera. Had the Leica X1 previously and sold it. Regreted as soon as I did. Have it again and love it. Folks say it's old and slow. Doesn't matter because IQ is outstanding and Leica "Made in Germany" quality build is simply beautiful.
