A4 text? OK. Photo printing? A lottery.
When these particular inks are used in the HP 3636 for photo printing, the results are poor. Specifically, when the printer is used in copy function to reproduce photos, the ink does not set/dry, particularly the black. If printed from a scan where the print output can be set exactly, the results are 95 per cent OK IF using HP branded photo paper, and you leave the photos at least 24 hours to dry. With other brand photo papers you can wipe the ink off even 48 hours later. My advice is to not purchase any HP printer using these ink cartridges if you wish to print photos.
