        Samsung Icemaker Making Ice Again!

        Nothing like paying almost $4000 for a refrigerator only to have the ice maker (the reason we bought this model) stop working after 18 months. Disgusted with paying for repairs-service fee to just come out and can you be ready on a weekday between 8am and 3pm-I decided to do this myself. With the help of several Youtube videos and the schematics, I went looking for the replacement part. Low and behold, this must be a common problem as the replacement ice makers are hard to find. I ended up here and purchased the gizmo. Shipped quickly, came quickly, and then sat for about 2 weeks while I girded my loins to delve into the repair business. As a science teacher, I can read directions but alas, none were sent. I went back to the internet and found a very good, step by step set of directions ...

        Great product, great price

        The Samsung ice maker was pretty easy to install after watching the you tube video showing how to install it. We have had problems with the original ice maker for a few years. We purchased our refrigerator in 2016. Once installed the new ice maker was making ice within two hours and it is working great, The ice maker was also the best price..

        Ice maker outstanding

        I have been having problems with my ice maker and could not figure it out. I decided to order a new updated ice-maker as last resort. Installed it and in minutes it was dropping ice. I just hope it out last the the first one. good product very good.

        Icemaker Problem Solved

        I installed the icemaker a few days ago. It takes up to 12 hours for it to begin making ice and, sure enough, it began working just as it should. The Samsung side-by-side refrigerator has a small gap that can let humidity into the icemaker from the refrigerator. That can freeze and interfere with icemaker operation. That was caulked and taped to make a positive separation between the two compartments. I'm looking forward to years of troublefree icemaking.

        Worked like a charm

        Fixed my Samsung ice maker with this product. Replaced the old defective one, installed the metal clips recommended by Samsung and sealed the ice maker area from inside the refrigerator. Took about half a day allowing the sealant to dry a little. Six months later still no frost and ice maker is working well. Very good product, very happy it worked out!!!
