        Great Features!

        There's a reason this product gets such high ratings! Works great! Easy to use; Great sound; Downloadable software for Windows 10. I also have the ION vinyl converter - which continues to be a winner after hundreds of vinyl conversions. ION MAKES DURABLE PRODUCTS! I paid the extra $$ to get a new product.

        Not easy. Doesn't do what it promses.

        The ads say it's simple to use (It's not). They don't tell you that you need to download iTunes , and Audacity to use it. Audacity is not simple to use, (I used to use DAK Workshop which was truly easy to use, but no longer available) and I can't even get iTunes to work in my PC. I've downloaded it, but the ION tape to PC doesn't recognize it. It shows as a download on my PC. I feel like I threw my money out. I expected to play my tapes and have them converted to digital as advertised. It doesn't do that. there are many steps in between that involve other products.

        Ion Tape 2

        Works well, but have some problems with one Dell XPS computer. Did not import waw files recorded in this device. Now using another and older Dell Optiplex 780 computer, no problem, although no direct transfer to Itunes possible. Also tried an old Dell Precision M4300 and also able to import waw files to hard drive, not able to transfer directly to Itunes. But as it worked in these two computers, I am fairly satisfied. Have requested support to manufacturer without response...

        Though it may not be a throwback, from the '80's. It fills in, quite smartly. To dust off the original cassettes, feels great again. Surprisingly, the Tapes sound great, after all these years. The Ion deck, was advertised as it was implied. A slightly used, and well maintained, Stereo component.

        Quality and convenience in one package.

        This product meets all of the manufacturer's specifications for quality of workmanship, material, versatility and durability. It's a product which I plan to use extensively to transfer my cassette collection to a digital format and already is has proven to be a smart choice.
