    Rescued

    Although I am glad to have it, the quality couldn’t have been much worse. Most videos that are transposed to DVD are cleaned up some. This was not. I have the Gilligans Island box set; which is older; and much better video.

    BOB DENVER GILLIGAN COMEDY CLASSIC!!!

    I thought this was a really great movie where the castaways finally get rescued!!! The movie has Bob Denver in his classic role as Gilligan with his many odd, quirky, zany, mannerisms that make him outrageously funny!!! This was Produced & Written by Sherwood Schwartz who originally created the GILLIGAN'S ISLAND TV SHOW. If you enjoyed the Gilligan's Island TV show then you should have an idea or know what to expect somewhat and have a lot of fun viewing this one!!!

    Don't waste your money on this one.

    This doesn't even score a 'B' rating, try a 'W' - for WASTE of time, film and money. The cast weren't the best of actors in the series, but in this film they must have totally forgotten how to act at all. In my view only Napolean Dynamite is worst than this. It might be entertaining is I was stoned out of my gourd, but unfortunately I wasn't. Buy it if ya want, but you've been warned.

    Gilligan and the Rest

    The writing was very weak on this one. You would think that after all those years someone would have though of a good script. The show deserved a lot better semi ending to this beloved classic show. I think if someone had said RESCUED just one more time I would have thrown up. The new Ginger couldn't act her way out of a Godzilla movie. She may not be that bad just written that way.

    Really good dvd

    Me and my husband have all 3 seasons of Gilligans Island and on the last episode it never showed them getting off the island. Now I never watched Gilligans Island when I was a child so I just thought that the ending was really bad because it just left off with them still not being rescued until I looked up Rescue From Gilligans Island Great show.
