    Works well for touching up the edges of leather shoe and boot soles

    I've been using Fiebing's products for many years. The Leather sole and heel dressing is as the name says for touching up scuffs on the edges and heels of leather soled shoes and boots. It's more or less a leather dye. Use it carefully, you may need something like a cotton swab (like a q-tip) so you don't get it on your shoes or boots if they are a lighter color leather as it will permanently dye the leather - be careful! I have also used Fiebing's leather dyes - and they do an excellent job, it's good quality - count on it.
