Do not buy from this seller....shows a new, perfect condition feeler gauge in the picture only to "knowingly" shipping out a bent, non-usable gauge saying that it was that way from the manufacturer "before" they sent it to me; then telling me that it's still 50% usable...wow, really!? I had to get Ebay involved for obtaining a refund. Bad business....BE CAREFULL!

Not sure about other bikes, but for the xs1100 it’s well known this tool only works if you grind it down some. Once you do that, it works perfectly.
