The R710 is limited to rough;y 128GB of 4R memory that will run at the rated speed of the memory, add in a R2 in any bank you're 800Mhz no matter what. Now if the other sellers would do this other wouldn't purchase memory that don't / can't use.

Popped it into my trashcan Mac Pro and it was recognized and booted right away. Visually the RAM looks the same as the original RAM that came with the computer and was in good physical shape.
