The Hitachi Travelstar 5K160 is a parallel hard drive that is intended for use with PC computers. It is an internal 80 GB hard drive that easily stores data on a variety of laptops. This amount of data space serves a range of purposes, from data downloading from the Internet, to saving photographs. This Hitachi Travelstar hard drive is for both home and business uses. Its spindle speed is 5400 RPM, which is adequate for connecting to the Web and downloading information relatively quickly. The Hitachi Travelstar 5K160 uses perpendicular magnetic recording to quickly download data and files. It also uses less power, so that the internal 80 GB hard drive doesn’t cause damage to itself or other processors within the laptop. This 0.3 lb Hitachi Travelstar hard drive is light enough for storage in even some of the slimmest laptop computers. The Hitachi Travelstar 5K160 is a 0.37 x 2.76 x 3.94-inch bare drive.
