These bags are a great deal! There’s is “some assembly required” as you have to position them and drill the holes yourself. But that wasn’t hard to do. I bought Saddleman small liners and store some supplies in as well as underneath which raises them up. This allows me to make use of the space inside the lids carry even more stuff! I also added a layer of window weather stripping inside the lid which made a more secure fit. No shaking at all!

    Exactly what i was after

    Mounted to a 99 Road Star pretty easily after some measuring twice and cutting once. Understand that if you’re looking for parts on ebay and not online motorcycle shops, you’re going to get what you pay for. If you want exact fitment and aesthetics, pay up $$. If you’re mechanically inclined and have a Saturday and a 6 pack, knock yourself out. Bags are holding up on long rides and i do not hesitate to load em up. Motorcycles = pay to play.
