I set the time and attempted to press the crown in; it wouldn't depress. That's when I noticed the very small nylon clip between the stem and the case. Duh! Simply pull the clip out with finger tips, the battery makes contact and the watch starts right up. Re. the watch itself: I had my doubts since it was really inexpensive but it looks just like the photos and I'm very happy with it. Seller included an extra battery and a small drawstring pouch.. Nice touch! Thanks.
