Seller Notes: “For pickup only, these as-pictured Pioneers are, to our eyes, about as good as could be expected ... “For pickup only, these as-pictured Pioneers are, to our eyes, about as good as could be expected for their vintage, circa 1978. Of course the tops had seen the most "activity" so our preferred auto-body shop polished them. Superb. Bottoms have the "haze". We played these regularly while testing multiple receivers for the consignor. These are consignment items and offers lower than starting price will not be entertained. Desirable "200w max" crossover. In 18 years have seen just a few on eBay and, frankly, none that appeared to be this nice. Had to pull out puckered dust cover on one midrange speaker. Woofers show a little staining, possibly from the original surround treatment. These are ported so there is some minor interior clean-up needed ( 2 bugs, minor cobwebs) on the interior....best accomplished by opening back through crossover. This we would prefer to leave to the winning bidder but are flexible if, after payment, he/she wants us to do this.Thanks for your bids.”
