I took my iPod 5th generation to the Apple Genius Bar to see if they could repair the faulty battery. They basically told me no repair was available and I'd need tp purchase an iPhone. I found a battery replacement service on eBay through celldealz206 and what a great experience that was. Mailed my iPod to them and they returned it to me within a week. Works great and there was no data lost!
