Before I bought it I asked though if it was the clamp with the yellow pads or the one with the black pads, because the product image showed 2 different clamps. The seller said it was the yellow model. I received the black model. (note: other differences aside from color). The return was no hassle and every communication was positive with the seller.

    Just what I needed.

    I looked for a sturdy microplane since my first one made of plastic edges broke. This one is all metal except for the cover and seems really sturdy. It grates hard cheese into a fluff that melts quickly. It is also a good length to handle.

    Top of the line Microplane

    This seems to be the best quality of the genuine Microplane grater. I expect it to last a very long time. It does an excellent job of grating garlic and zesting lemons.
