I purchased this to fit a Sankey/Penman trailer 80mm ring which it DOES FIT and it WORKS, but it is very loose (it won't fall out and does the job OK) BUT, it needs some kind of spacer of approx 12mm thick to go between the padlock and the slipover plate of the hitch lock! The locks are designed primarily for agricultural trailer ring hitches, but are also very suitable for the NATO ring hitches, which have different dimensions to agricultural versions.The locks are designed to be a loose fit, as this makes them far harder to remove by force, or by cutting etc, rather than if they were held solid.As intended, with the lock fitted it is impossible to attach to a tow vehicle through the tow ring.Many thanks.
