I wanted to purchase the previous version which had the volume engraved; TSA requires the volume printed on containers. Keith now manufactures a new version which no longer has the volume displayed. After contacting the customer service, they updated the pictures within hours. They also passed on the recommendation to engrave the 3.4 oz volume on the flask for folks who want to carry it through TSA. Excellent customer service

Titanium is light like plastic, stronger than steel and keeps drinks cold (or hot if boiling of fire)
I really like this bottle. 4 stars due to 3 negatives: 1) Body in constructed using 2 pieces. The cylinder and the "funnel" that appear pressed in together. This creates a small interior lip/hang up within the interior of the bottle. I would have preferred smooth transitions and a single pice construction similar to the stainless kleen Kanteens. 2) The lip area where your lips touch the bottle/ this area is rolled and tucks into the body of the bottle. Again, there is a void/space within this region as it is now hollow for bacteria/debri to accumulate. Other makers also manufacture this way. I don't get why they can't just blend this into the body and remove these areas of potential bacteria breeding pools. 3) Its made in China, I knew this when I was buying it. The bottle is ... The price is about the same as it would have been coming from Japan so there really is no "deal". I am obsessed with titanium and love the metal.

A beautiful bottle.
A beautiful bottle. Super light, flawless build quality. No odor. No Taste. A pleasure to drink from and to carry just the right amount of water without the weight of steel. Nests in my MSR Ti mug. Came with an insulating sleeve, which is nice, but does have a powerful neoprene(?) odor. This odor lingers on the titanium long after it's removed. I do not use the sleeve because of that. Hoping this will dissipate, so I can start using it. A beautiful bottle. Super light, flawless build quality. No odor. No Taste.
