Fairly easy to figure out how to use. Just have to figure out how to position it in a vice if you’re doing it to a angled piece of tubing or it will hit whatever the vise is anchored to

Will not do 5/8" Tube as stated. Good otherwise.
Well I was disappointed when I tried to put a bead on 5/8"OD tubing like they said it would do. I had to make a tool on my lathe to spread the ID to 0.614" for the tool to work on the 5/8" OD tubing. The tool was made of a 0.625" OD steel round stock about 5" long. I put a taper on one end for about 1.5" long and then turned the OD to 0.614" for the next 1". I happen to have a Hydraulic Tube Flaring machine with a 5/8" die so I used the die to hold the tube tightly in my Vice using aluminum soft jaws. put a fine file finish on the taper and the straight section of my tool and made my first attempt on a scrap tube. It make the bead okay but I had to heat the tube to get the tool out. So I polished the taper and also the 0.614" straight section of the tool (punch) so that it was pretty ... I am going to put a mirror type finish on it before I put it away though. On the second attempt it made a perfect bead and the tool (Tapered Punch) I made was pretty easy to get out. The Bead Roller worked fine and I have very little doubt that it will be a problem on other larger size pipes. The only reason I gave it a 3-star was because of the amount of time it takes to make a tool that works to do what was advertised. It is nice but, probably made in China. I hope not! We need to start paying a little more for good old "Made in USA" tools. I do when I can. Stay safe everyone with the Pandemic and all.

NOT HAPPY WITH THIS TOOL
TRYED TO PUT A BEED IN A 3 " ALUMINUM PIPE 1/16" THICK. THE HANDEL HOLD PIN SNAPED AND THE CRANK ROD FOR THE HANDLE STRIPED. NO MATTER HOW TIGHT I TRYED BY HAND TO TIGHTENED THE TURN KNOB TO MAKE A BEED IT WOULD NOT HOLD THE PIPE. NOT HAPPY AT ALL. WAS A WASTE OF MONEY. IT DESTROYED ITSELF SO BAD I DONT THINK I CAN RETURN IT TO GET MY MONEY BACK.
