Synopsis
"I'll sing to you next time" consists of 46 poems by Victor Edgar Rivera. The poems in this book are sparse in words, but full of imagery and contemplative ideas. Some of the poems are written in Spanish, as the poet felt this to be the best way to convey the emotions expressed. Some of the poems are bilingual, using both the English and Spanish languages to present a moment in time. There is a surrealist objective in several of the poems. Haiku, blues and ballads are also explored. Throughout this book, the poet strives to infuse melody, harmony and rhythm into every poem.
