Good installation
It works good, it keeps the hood lock down tight and secure, just make sure to follow the instructions carefully, it takes patience when retrofitting mounting area of the original latch, it needs adjustments during install, when it comes to adding the washers.

Locking Hood Latches for 1997 - 2006 Jeep Wrangler & 2004 - 2006 Jeep Unlimited.
Pretty hard to get the top locking mechanism and the straight-up hood bar to match up and lock into place. The biggest problem was getting the bottom straight-up bar locking mechanism to screw in with the bottom plate from underneath the fender. Took a lot of adjusting. The whole disassembly of the old hold latches and installation of the locking latches about one and a half hours. I went to the hardware store and purchased some metal washers and used them to make the final adjustment. That did the trick. A pretty good product, but not a great product. You don't have much choice when it comes to older Jeeps for locking hood latches.
