Overhang gauge appears to be an authentic Technics part (and is a perfect replacement for the $6 piece of plastic that Panasonic refuses to include with new turntables these days).     It Works, What Do You Expect?

    Technics have provided these useful gauges with their fine turntables for about 50 years. The gauge is needed to properly mount the cartridge in the tone arm headshell so the stylus will correctly track the the groove of a vinyl record.
