Gamers join more than a dozen unique operators as they fight tactical battles through destructible environments in Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege. The Situations mode is a single-player tutorial, but otherwise the game is optimized for multiplayer action, with the five-player Terrorist Hunt co-op mode pitting gamers against waves of AI attackers, and the majority of the gameplay coming in the form of sieges on fortified indoor locations. One side can take hostages and set up traps to create a stronghold, while the other team can observe the fortifications and devise a plan of attack.<br><br>The barriers separating competing sides are designed to be realistically destructible, with players capable of shooting through walls, blowing holes in the ceiling, or crashing through windows, and there are no spawn points, so downed teammates must be revived. Every action gamers take (short of shooting their teammates) results in Renown, which can be used to unlock new operators, weapons, and gameplay content, while R6 Credits can be purchased with real money and used to buy Renown boosters and special weapon skins. Ubisoft plans to roll out more content throughout the year, and estimates that it will take roughly 25 hours or 25,000 Renown to unlock new post-launch operators.<br><br>This Gold Edition includes the full original game as well as the Season Pass, which offers exclusive weapons skins, a 5-percent Renown boost, two extra daily Renown-earning challenges, and 600 R6 Credits.

    Excellent game for what's there

    Rainbow Six Siege is an excellent multiplayer game but loses a star for its shortcomings. Game is a great burger that's missing a few too many ingredients. While the meat and bun are delicious, those missing extras you expect hurt there overall experience. No single player story mode, co-op story mode, or dedicated servers really hurt the experience. The game is also plagued by continuous host disconnections and matchmaking issues. The game is really fun when it works even though it's just a portion of what should have been for the full $60 price tag. If you want full payment, deliver a full product. In its current state, I'd say the game is worth thirty-five out forty dollars.

    Awesome game

    I've played it everyday since I've bought it and it never gets boring. You might see a lot of bad feedback online about the game, but in my opinion it's worth the purchase and I got it for an awesome price I love the game and they come out with more updates weekly. I don't think I'll ever sell this game! The gameplay and story mode is pretty awesome but it's only good when it comes to online play not really useful for offline play.
