Not worth paying for, but if a friend has it to loan...........
The holes in the story line of this movie make sink holes in Florida look like dimples. Supposedly 1000 years after man has fled earth because he poisoned it so badly with pollution. And the earth is clean and pretty, though there isn't enough oxygen in the air for men to breath unaided. Large animals, though like Roc sized eagles and baboons breath just fine. The foliage is tropical and lush, but the atmosphere drops below freezing every night, the plants shrivel up and then open up lush and tropical the next morning. Uh-huh. Will Smith tells his son "Everything on this planet has evolved to hunt humans." 1) Nothing evolves much in 1000 years, especially higher animals. 2) If man has been gone for that 1000 years, how did the animals evolve to hunt them? worth watching but nowhere as good as some of the other will smith movies
will smith is always great to watch I dont think his son will take his place . The movie is a futuristic look at earth when we all leave , the ship crashes and they need to get to a part of the broken ship so the son rescues it . I enjoyed seeing the animal population grow since there were no humans , but there is a problem some of the animals are huge and out to kill

Brilliant effects, good plot and great ending
I enjoyed the movie. Both of the main actors did a great job and the special effects were worth seeing. It was nice to watch a film that wasn't full of filthy talk as well. Your kids could watch it without being taught how to cuss. If you like sci-fi movies you should enjoy this one.
