A fine budget laptop.
I got this laptop because of the i5-1035G1 processor and 1920x1080 display. Most laptops in this price range have lesser processing power and screen resolution. The i5-1035G1 has a max turbo frequency of 3.6 GHz and gets a PassMark score of about 7,960. I'm surprised at the great condition of the laptop. Being refurbished, there are a few scratches on mine near the keyboard, maybe the previous owner wore jewelry while typing. The screen has no scratches, and the exterior looks great. Also included was a 2 year third party warranty. I tested the battery. Setting the screen to half brightness, wifi off, speakers loudest, and highest power saving mode, I was able to play a 720p movie on repeat from the ssd for almost 9 hours. With the same settings and watching the same movie from Youtube ... I got this laptop because of the i5-1035G1 processor and 1920x1080 display. Good System, Great Design, Excellent Price, Reliable Surely!!!
I found this device great for editing and checking my drone videos. I was surprised how well it handled video editing and testing for the price. I do not understand how it acquires it maximum speed but it is fast. I used 2 major editors and found it quite fast for what I needed all the way up to the Mavic 2 Pro. The Hasselblad is some camera and it handled whatever I threw at it very well. Everything else about this refurbed system was like clean, brand new appearance. For what I paid it is amazing as I have a very old acer laptop still running fine. I have the original well cared for Lithium Ion battery in it as well. I used the old one in many countries in my travels and it always works well. Now I have an ever faster, better one to please me even more. Acer makes great products and I ...
