Superhero cop John McClane (Bruce Willis) returns in DIE HARD WITH A VENGEANCE. Freshly expelled from the NYPD, McClane encounters a number of threatening phone calls from a terrorist calling himself Simon (Jeremy Irons). Simon tests McClane's wits, and allows him the chance to stop each bomb by solving a riddle. In addition to using his previously learned anti-terrorism tactics (DIE HARD, DIE HARD 2), McClane enlists an angry store clerk, Zeus (Samuel L. Jackson) to decipher Simon's tricky enigmas. DIE HARD WITH A VENGEANCE finds director John McTiernan returning to the creative helm of the series he began in 1987 (Renny Harlin directed DIE HARD 2). For the third film in the detonative series, McTiernan creates a story line which floats from psycho terror to sonic action to interracial comedy relief. The acting is something to be marveled at as well. Bruce Willis miraculously evokes sympathy whilst playing the angry police man and Jeremy Irons' performance as the villainous Simon is reminiscent of an Eastern European James Bond megalomaniac. Samuel L. Jackson's is also worth mentioning as he gives an angry discourse in racism and then pops off one liners, both ice cold and slick.

    My favorite in the series

    Die Hard: With a Vengeance is my favorite Die Hard films. It offers so much that it's hard to not love this movie!!! Sam Jackson and Bruce Willis team up in the third Die Hard movie and deliver one of the funniest, most action packed film in history. Another terrorist story but the added buddy/buddy system adds a certain element that makes this Die Hard film one of my all-time favorite movies. The original Die Hard is the best in the film simply because it's the original, but Die Hard: With a Vengeance offers up the most bang for it's buck, and even non-action fans can enjoy it. The terrorist squad in this film is my favorite by far, and the way he tries to stump Willis and Jackson is hilarious and adrenaline pumping.     Die Hard 3 - Willis and Jackson, the perfect duo!

    I like all of the 3 Die Hard movies and I can't wait for the part 4 (probably in theaters 2007... well, hopefully) I liked this Die Hard the best because I love both Bruce Willis and Samuel L. Jackson and seeing them together in this movie was great. Die Hard 3 is also by far the funniest Die Hard Movie (no Samuel L. Jackson movie without some good laughs!)
