    So Much Better

    This router is head & shoulders above the 4 port Wi-Fi router my home security provider installed. I especially like the fact that the Netgear has both 2.4 and 5GHz radios so my older laptop connects fine on the lower frequency and my new phone really zips on the 5Gig.

    Too low Wi Fi speed

    I purchased this router used. Had no problem to set it up. However, the WiFi speed is less than half what I used to get from other WiFi router -- I updated the firmware. For example, I got 16~18Mbps from even older NetGear WN2000v3 N300 Wireless Router, but could only get around 8~10Mbps from this router. I changed to a AC1200 router, and could get more than 30Mbps -- using the same 802.11n on 2.4GHz. (My ISP speed is 50Mpbs download). The wired connections have no problem -- getting the full ISP apeed.

    QUALITY PRODUCT WITH RANGE AND POWER TO DELIVER TOP END PERFORMANCE

    If you need versatility, reliability and the ability to manage multiple pieces of hardware to connect the internet the Netgear R6200 router is for you. It's a work horse designed to provide maximum bandwidth for all devices all the time. We bought our on Ebay in "used" condition. Have not been happier with the high end performance that we have received from this device since the day we turned it on. This Router has the range and power to fill about 4000 sq.ft. of living space and eliminate the dead spots for life.

    Great product

    Have been running this for about a month now. Very happy as has made streaming a much more pleasant experience. No more buffering! I have 11 devices connected and it seems to be doing fine. Very easy install!

    Netgear R6200 ac1200

    After getting cable I was told my router was not fast enough to work with cable and after checking I found the cable company used Netgear routers . I bought this Netgear router on eBay hooked it up and it all most installed it self,it works very well and I am very happy with it.
