Product Information

A fifth season of drama unfolds as the residents of the small Connecticut town Stars Hollow run the full gamut of human emotions once again. Lorelai Gilmore (Lauren Graham) and her teenage daughter Rory (Alexis Bledel) enjoy mixed fortunes this time out. As the wind is firmly knocked out of Rory's sails due to a seemingly never-ending string of personal crises, Lorelai is enjoying her flourishing romance with the handsome Luke (Scott Patterson). Lorelai tries to fulfill her motherly duties by helping Rory to get her life back on track, then falls into heartbreak herself when Luke breaks up with her. But the two quickly reconcile, and the romance really heats up as the season nears its conclusion--although Rory's penchant for trouble causes her mother further anguish. All 21 episodes from the fifth season are included on this collection.

    Gilmore Girls season 5

    Loves the show and by the time I really started to watch the show with regularity it was in reruns, the last season was filmed in 2007 so I had to order the dvd's. In some ways (most) it's great because if I'm in suspense I don't have to wait for long but some of the shows do not flow exactly together yet I find myself so riveted I can't stop watching, ridiculous but I love this show! Did I say how much I love Gilmore Girls? lol The only caution I have is that there is a few (rare) scenes in which there is some anti-Christian dialogue which I find strongly offensive. The writers of this show are a bit liberal and should take note that if antisemitism isn't acceptable neither is anti-Christianity. Then again there are some pro-Christian parts in some scenes as well.

    Awesome show!!

    This show is engaging, funny, and witty. The writers aren't afraid to write for an intelligent audience and the actors really commit to their rioles. Because of all of the Pop-culture and historical references, combined with an extremely fast paced script, I am able to watch the series multiple times and " get" or notice new things. My husband and kids are even addicted to the fictional town of "Stars Hollow" and all of the towns people right along with me. II could go on and on but I will wrap it up & say it is pure brilliance!!!

    Great entertainment

    I bought Gilmore girls season 5 to replace my copy which had 2 defective discs. I love watching Gilmore girls for the quirky characters and pop culture references and it glorifies intellect and high achievers. I do not like the hatred of rich people or christians and portraying conservatives negatively.

    Gilmore Girls 5th season

    Seems like I have already reviewed this one but it keeps coming up so here goes again. I love the series of Gilmore Girls. I received the product in good condition and can't wait to view each and every discs.
