- d***a (5)- Feedback left by buyer.More than a year agoVerified purchaseI ordered this lens as backup lens for an older Meade refractor from 2008. The new lens is slightly wider so it doesn't fit, I would have to Dremel the lens cell to make it work. Also the new lens is thinner than the original Meade lens...and the coating is a lot thinner as well noticable lighter coating. So I'll keep using the original Meade lens because it's better than this newer version but might be okay in an emergency.

Delivery wasn't too lengthy and I was provided with a link to excellent tracking. It arrived with ample protection in a bubble-pack envelope. Not sure if this lens is actually multi-coated? No tint to it. However, assuming it has some sort of coating, it's just as described. It is now in a mini-lightweight 3D printed guide scope for astrophotography.
