      Great for lifting medium weight objects.

      I'm using this set of davits somewhat "off label". I'm using one of the davits to lift groceries up 23 feet to a second floor deck. The base of the davit has a notch that engages a pin in the base that prevents it from rotating in its base when it's under load. I modified the davit notch so it wouldn't engage the pin and therefor allow me to swing the davit with a load of groceries. If used as designed, such as for lifting as Zodiac, it would be ideal.
