Arrived pretty quick, but on my specific car, 4 gear 1984 VW Golf 2, 1,6, 75 hp, it did not fit. When tool fitted correctley, the gear rod was all the way to the right, how ever when trimmed slightly with a stanley knife and turned upside down, the gear rod was dead center and adjustred this way it engages fine i all gears. 1234R. The tool is also a little flimsy. Photo shows my alternative setting.
