Although the propane sensor advertises that the five-year life of the sensor begins only when it is fired up, I was dissapointed that the item itself had an embossed label that said the sensor would be good only until Feb. 2028. That is 4 years, not five. I am wondering whether it sat at the seller's facility for an extended period of time before it was sold and shipped.
