I collect real and reproductions. I have an original and while this garment is shaped/cut like an original, it is not at all denim nor is it canvas. It is more of a see thru muslin. Only useful in a place like California, Spain or Florida w hot weather. Maybe useful only as a Reenactor garment on a hot day. For use as a real smock or anorak in any season but summer not at all.
Look at the photos taken against the garment. One you can easily see my Christmas tree. Not windproof!!!
