    Bass fished with this on small lakes known for their small bass (3 lbs. is big). The rod is stiffer than I was expecting (that is a positive), but not as sensitive as I was expecting (that's a negative). The butt below the reel seat is too long for an ultralight, should be at least 3-4" shorter. Pretty rod. Casts well. It is a keeper.

    Outstanding for the money...

    I love fishing with ultralight gear. You can feel everything. The Okuma Celilo doesn't disappoint. Even as an ultralight it surprised me how thin it is at the grip, but it doesn't feel flimsy. The taper on it feels just right. I haven't actually even caught a fish with it yet, so I might wind up hating it. But I have enough experience casting and retrieving with lots of different rods to know that this one is a keeper.

    Light and fast

    Perfect for panfish or small mouth river fishing. I like that’s is two piece so I can attach it to my back pack. Great quality, strong and very sensitive. I would recommend this okuma ultralight for anyone wanting to have to fun catching fish.
