It does work; but it seems to depend. If I use my oem apple headphones, consistency on headphone side. Charging side, not fitting snug, requiring tape to hold; with its functionality intermittent and how positioned impacts. I appreciated suggestion of seller when I initially had neither side working: connect earphones and charging cable to the adapter first, and then connect the aux adapter to your Phone, which got the ball rolling , initially.

(I think it was the post offices’ equipment that tried to “eat the package” that caused the delay).
