    Older machine, but good for basic needs

    I've been a "Mac Guy" for decades. Sure they have their quirks, but even older Mac's are quite useful. This iMac is one of them. I'm setting this particular machine up for our Au Pair who needs it for college oriented tasks. I upgraded the RAM to 8GB and it is running 10.11 El Capitan. I wouldn't describe it as "snappy", but it certainly gets the job done and at a great price.

    Excellent Product at a Great Value

    Got what I needed for a pretty nice price – a cheap Mac to put my foot into the Mac world and just have access to a Mac. Some other nice features I like on this thing are its webcam and microphone. Specs aren't necessarily the most modern, but I wasn't really for a real modern one as much as I was looking for an affordable Mac.

    So far so good

    I was impressed with the efforts of packaging for a computer being shipped. also was shipped fast. I bought a iMac which was being sold for parts or repair. I was able to repair and get it running but it was attached to a school system who previously owned it I guess. So I am reaching out to the school to see if they can detach and make sure it wasn't wrongfully taken from them. All good though.

    Still useable out the box in 2020

    A little slow but trust me it’s 1000% worth it also it can be upgraded down the line you can’t beat this price for an Apple product you just can’t I synced to my iCloud and now when my phone rings so does my watch my MacBook Pro and my new iMac it’s awesome
