    Past Masters, Vol. 1 by Beatles (the)

    Now what can be said about a collection of Beatle songs? I purchased this CD because I like plugging in, stepping up to a microphone and playing music with my friends. A part of my persona in the crowd is to come up with obscure songs for us to enjoy playing together. I was having difficulties finding "I call your name", a song that I remembered from my youth. I knew that this was not a Lennon/McCartney song but one that the Beatles did a copy of. That song and a good collection of others are on this CD. This CD is a good listen. There are a couple songs in German. I enjoyed the surprise of hearing some music I had forgotten about. I think you might enjoy this too..........! Joe in Nacogdoches

    No One Beats The Beatles!

    What can I say it's the Beatles Man! Ya can't go wrong with this collection of songs. Some are kind of rare too. Songs you've never heard on the radio because they were only released as B-Sides on the 45's. They aren't on any album. The rest of the songs are standard Beatles stuff! Sounds Great I Love It !!

    No pops or scratches - its a CD

    Beatles - what can I say. Cd is a bit "harsher" than my original lps, but that how Cds from the 80s are. I hear a bit of sibilance I didn't hear on records, guess its the re mastering. all in all, a good compillation.
